What Causes Numbness, Pain And Limited Mobility In Left Armpit In Hypertensive?

I am a 21 year old male. I am 6 0 , 190 lbs. As far as relevant medical history, I am being treated for hypertension and am currently taking Ramipril for that. For the past few days I have been experiencing some mild, yet consistent, pain and numbness under my left armpit all the way down my arm into my index finger. There is a little weakness and limited mobility in my arm, but nothing too bad. I ve been taking ibuprofen, which helps the pain but not the numbness. My first instinct points to a pinched nerve or something, but with my hypertension, it has me a little bit nervous especially since its the left arm. I m on a college budget so i don t want to waste money on a co-pay for something thats no big deal. There was no injury or trauma, it just started randomly in the middle of the day. I am not experiencing any other symptoms other than those stated above. Any advice?

Dear Sir,

Most probably it is caused by spine or nerve problems.
If your complains increases with physical activity I would advise you to refer to ER and perform an ECG. If not I would advise you to continue taking Ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day.

Hope I could help you

Wishing you good health
