What Causes Obstruction At The Back Of Tonsils While Eating Cookies?

Hello a few days ago I accidentally inhaled through the mouth a few very tiny crumbs from animal style cookies that I was eating for dinner and felt like if they were stuck in the back of my tonsils and I did not cough, the crumbs were really tiny and looked like sand. It does not cause me to cough or feel any chest congestion, it just at some points it feels like if I am breathing them out little by little and still sometimes have the taste of the cookies in my mouth in the saliva. Is this normal or it will go away? should I just gargle salt water? What must I do to fix this? Should I visit my family practitioner or go to an ER? I do not know what to do.

hi
when we eat something that disintegrates into fragments, the fragments can prove to be sticking sites for viruses and bacteria and can lead sensation of sticking of the fragments in the throat, looks like you are going to develop sore throat or tonsillitis. So this is not normal but will go away.
A few steps will give you relief
1. gargle salt water 3 or 4 times per day.
2. refrain from taking very cold or very hot water
3. do not eat things like biscuits , nuts etc that crumble into fragments that might further get stuck in the throat.
4. garlic water gargle will sooth your throat.
In my opinion these conservative measures would replace the need of antibiotics for your condition
An examination of the throat by a practitioner is nevertheless helpful in proper cure of the condition.
Hope this helps
Take care
