What Causes Occasional Strong Chemical Smell?

Had a baby 4 months ago and since then I get an occasional strong chemical smell that lasts only a few seconds. This happens about once a week. What could this be? I am 22 years old, 5 7 , and weigh 143lbs. I am very healthy, no past medical issues.

If a patient comes to my OPD with a similar complaint I would like to clarify whether there is any associated difficulty during the time before the smell. I would like to know whether you have nausea during the period.

Or have you ever observed whether this happens after having some specific food as it can be due to acidity? As you say you are perfectly healthy I feel there is nothing to worry.
