I smell something odd in my nose. My nose is not blocked and my throat is fine. The smell comes and goes and I don t know if it is something like blood because my nose isn t bleed at all.i suspect my dentures maybe because of which I might have got a fungal infection but just wanting to know what it could be.
I understand your problem of off and on bad smell in nose while you are not having any other nasal, dental or throat problem.
As you said that some times you feel smell like of blood while there is no bleeding and apperentaly you have no other symptoms. This symptom is named as halitosis and possible casuses of it are-
Considering all above it will be better to consult your ENT doctor for thorough examination and necessary investigations for early diagnosis so that effective treatment may be planed.

Hi Welcome in HCM. I understand your problem of off and on bad smell in nose while you are not having any other nasal, dental or throat problem. As you said that some times you feel smell like of blood while there is no bleeding and apperentaly you have no other symptoms. This symptom is named as halitosis and possible casuses of it are- 1- Early Atrophic Rhinitis. 2- Chronic Adenotonsillitis. 3- Dyspepsia ( gastric problem). 4- Gingivitis. 5- Bad oral heygine with coated tongue. 6- Submandibular sialoadenitis. Considering all above it will be better to consult your ENT doctor for thorough examination and necessary investigations for early diagnosis so that effective treatment may be planed.
