What Causes One Clitoris Be Longer Than The Other?
Hi Dr. I have noticed a change in my right side of labia in my vagina.There is a small part of those innner soft fragile sensitive skin that has just grown a bit longer than the rest.It happened at first&I thought it was the shower i took as i was in a different town&it disappeared whn I got home in another province. Now again,that part has stuck out&causes a discomfort whn I wear underwear/put on pantyliner or whn I wash. It even began to affect my sexual life becuase i immediately rush to stop my boyfriend frm touching there during foreplay.What is the solution?Please help Im really frustrated. Mmabatho

From your description, I could not make out whether your clitoris has become longer or the Labia minora has increased in size. Both these organs are sexually very sensitive and cause erotic sensations to arise. In fact the orgasm starts from these organs.
Frequent handling of the labia minora can increase its size due to inflammation. Same can happen to the clitoris also. If labia minora develops cyst in it, it may have to be excised surgically. Only larger size need not cause any concern and may be ignored if it is not affecting sexual sensitivity and function. Getting sensations during foreplay at clitoral or labial region is normal.
Please do not get frustrated. If the sensations are not painful, enjoy them. If there is too much of discomfort in the area, please report to a Gynaecologist.
