Hi dear ,

The orange patches on the roof of your mouth are probably aphthous ulcers . There can be many reasons for aphthous ulcers like minor injury , continue irritation of mucosa , hot and spicy food and vitamin deficiency like vitamin B12 and folic acid . I would suggest you to do warm saline rinses several times a day , Do betadine rinses twice a day , start taking multivitamin supplement and avoid hot and spicy food . If condition doesn't improve in a week then consult oral pathologist for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order blood tests and biopsy to confirm the diagnosis and to rule out conditions like oral herpes , oral lichen planus and oral cancer ( rare chance ) .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
