What Causes Orangish Clay Colored Stools?

For the past two days I have had orangish-clay colored stools. I have had them occasionally before. I had my gallbladder removed in November of 2012. Just to give you an example... I ate lunch and about 30 minutes later I had diarrhea with the same color stools as mentioned and this was about my fourth round of diarrhea today alone. Please help!!

Hello,

Orangish clay-colored stools may be due to obstructive if biliary system due to biliary stasis by stone or drugs. It may be due to the consumption of drugs.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Get it done ultrasound abdomen and stool examination for stercobilinogen.

Total bilirubin, indirect bilirubin may useful.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
