Now aged sixty years have been suffering for deep ear pain for thirty years .I was told I neededd a surgery to remove an inverted inner left ear bone growth..what causes this can I loose my hearing. Hello,

Do a high resolution computed tomography (HRCT) temporal bone in all three cuts. Consult the HRCT with an ENT specialist. Do a pure tone audiogram, Impedance audiogram. Consult Ent specialist so that he can check your throat, nose, TM it.
