What Causes Overweight After Removal Of Appendicitis?
Hi,
I had my appendix out 24hrs ago. I have just arrived home and stood on the scales to discover my weight has gone from 70kg pre surgery to 76.1kg now!!! I am bloated all over and feeling huge. Is there a reason for this and will the weight gain stay or go? :-(

As per our surgical experience, there is no reason for weight gain through appendix surgery, unless fluid retention in the body from various reasons.
Must inform your surgeon regarding the same and discuss further course of action regarding it.
