What Causes Ovulation Pains With Mood Swings?

Hi....I am an African 38 year old female. For the last 11 years I have been getting excruciating ovulation pains that seem to get worse every month. My gyn has checked everything and says I am ok. His solution is that I give birth but how can I be successful in that area if my ovulation is unbearable. I believe i get terrible mood swings during this time and of late have been feeling quite suicidal. Please help...I cannot take this pain any more. Thank you
