What Causes Pain After Sexual Intercourse?

Hey Last weekend I almost went all the way with my boyfriend. He was trying to enter my vagina and it really hurt so I made him stop. I didn t hurt for the last few days since, but today I started hurting when I urinated. There is blood so I was thinking maybe he only tore part of my hymen. What do I need to do? And if it is just torn then why is it now just hurting?

hello,

First time sex may be painful due to inadequate vaginal lubrication, blunt trauma, hymen rupture etc. However, it will heal up automatically and you should maintain genital hygiene properly.

Urinary infection should be ruled out through urine examination. One course of antibiotic may be required in that case. Kindly, consult with your doctor.
