What Causes Pain Along C-section Scar After Having Tubes Tied?
Hi I have had 3 c section the last one was 1 year ago I also had my tubes tied at the same time since then during my period I get really uncomfortable pressure when I sit down or use the toilet and pain along my scar and in my groin/ overies could you tell me if this is normal or should I be completely healed by now ? Thanks
Hi, I have gone through your question. Pain along the caesarean section scar after 1 year of the surgery can be due to neuropathic pain or damage to the superficial nerves in the scar. Tubal ligation do not lead to post operative pain and discomfort. Abdominal pain can be due to pelvic inflammatory disease or any other ovarian pathology, or may be due gastrointestinal cause. I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated( ultrasound) and get appropriate treatment. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health.
