General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Hard painful bowel movement with bleeding after delivery in a female patient is usually due to a condition called fissure-in-ano wherein one gets a cut that is small wound at the anterior or posterior part of the anal canal.
The bleeding is usually attached to the stool or can have few free drops falling off at the end of defecation, causes pain afterwards too.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Sitz bath in a tub with warm water.
Laxatives to keep the stool soft.
Dietary changes to avoid constipation.
This is usually sufficient to heal the fissure.
If not, consult a General Surgeon for examination ano-proctoscopy and further management as needed.
