What Causes Pain And Blockage In The Ear During Nights?

Hi Dr Carol, I was wondering if you could help me with a small issue I am having. It s strange but whenever I tend to sleep on one side the whole night then the ear on that side starts paining and even gets blocked.I remember one of the Doctors asking me to take Relent, but really can t seem to find the prescription anymore.Could you please let me know if Relent would help in reducing the pain and unblocking the ear.

Hi,

Are you having cold sneezing nose blockage? Please start taking fluticasone nasal spray, antiallergic tablet Allegra or you may continue to relent. Both will work. Take steam inhalation. Do a pure tone audiogram and impedance audiogram and review.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rajat Basak,
