OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,
I have gone through the query and understood your concern. While on hormonal contraception, it is advisable to get periodic check up to exclude cyst formation, coagulation defects, hepatic and renal malfunction and breast masses. In the current scenario, I would ask you to contact your health care provider immediately and rule out internal causes and bruising. Do not use Ibuprofen. You can apply icepack to the area for relief while you get proper medical attention. Take care.
