What Causes Pain And Burning Sensation In The Foot A Week After The Removal Of A Splinter?
I thought I had a splinter in the ball of my foot and had my wife look at it and prod it with a needle /magnifying glass. We thought we got some thing out , but now a week later I can hardly put weight m on it. It is white and tender and burns if my bare foot is on the floor.

Dear after removal of splinter may be the wound is infected or exposed nerves on that area etc. You may wear soft coushon shoes. Use ointment with cotton.
Use cold and warm compression.
If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
