Hi, My toe next to big toe has turn black and blue at tip, also at night a cycling hot sharp pain hits it. It seems to to be on 2 mins. Off 2 mins. Now it seems to be moving to other toes? I do have gout and haven t had an attack in years, and not taking meds for it. This pain is not like the gout pain I ve had in the past? Any advice?

Hello Thanks for posting I have gone through your symptoms and they could well be due to raynauds disease/gout/extreme cold exposure.My advise would be- 1.Getting blood test for uric acid done. 2.Visit to the Rheumatologist will be helpful. Hope this helps. Take care

You can get colour Doppler study of limb to confirm it. Vasodilator drugs are useful to increase circulation . For pain relief you can take analgesic such as ibuprofen.
