Well, these are symptoms which may be produced by
enlarged prostate and no other cause is necessary. Furthemore, these symptoms may indicate
prostatitis or hypertrophy and rarely it may be sign of
STD infection. You should avoid intercourse for till symptoms persist and drink plenty of fluids to promote urination.
If symptoms persist it would be good to do prostate
ultrasound and check your PSA levels to rule out prostate
tumor or hypertrophy and further treatment depends on these findings. In most cases it can be controlled with medications but sometimes,, open surgery is required. Also, it woul dbe good to o urine analysis since it may co-exist in some cases and then antibiotic treatment may be necessary.
