What Causes Pain And Hardness To Have Bowel Movement?

This is embarrassing for me to say.. But I ve had this problem from many years now! Everytime I try to have a bowel movement I have to strain so hard that is hurts! The inside of my anus pretrudes everytime I use the bathroom. Can you please help me figure out what this thing is that I actually have and is it cure able?

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of need to strain at passing stool, there is pain and protrusion of anus/rectum, wants to know what it is and whether this is incurable.
The history indicates that this is basically prolapse of anus and rectum making a valve like phenomenon making you to strain and increasing the problems, straining and thus the problems gets accentuated.
I would advise you the following:
Get a clinical evaluation, per-rectal digital examination, proctoscopy and colonoscopy, barium enema, anal manometry studies to find the grade of the problem and to find out the most suitable treatment option.
Medical management includes Sitz bath, laxatives, diet change to have better motion consistency.
Surgical management depends upon the actual findings.
