Hello,
Thanks for letting us know your health concern. In the current scenario, the possible causes are- 1. Mismatch in the size of the vagina and the tampon. 2. Allergy to the contents of the tampon leading to the itching. 3. Prolonged presence of a single tampon in the vagina due to erratic bleeding. The cause of the bleeding abnormality should be sought for and treated, too. The tampons should be removed every 6-8 hours even if not completely soaked. the same is true for sanitary napkins also. I would suggest using panty liners or sanitary pads until the cause of the discomfort is detected and treated. Also, avoid synthetic undergarments and use cotton material to allow good ventilation. Maintain proper genital hygiene. Hope this helps.
