What Causes Pain And Limited Movement In Shoulder After An Injury?
i played ultimate frisbee yesterday and landed on my shoulder during the game. i felt and heard a distinct pop and felt a lot of pain. but nothing was dislocated and i know nothing is fractured or broken...i have limited range of motion and it is very painful...what caused the pop? what did i do to my shoulder and how long will it take to heal.
Hello, I have studied your case and I think that you might have torn your shoulder tendon. To confirm this diagnosis I would like you to get a ultrasound of the shoulder. If it is torn than you need to follow these steps. 1.Ice for three days. 2.Rest and tablet Brufen twice daily. 3.Volitran ointment. 4. If it is completely torn rotator cuff you might need a surgery. I hope these steps will help you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions. Thanks
