What Causes Pain And Muscle Stiffness In Legs After Sitting For Long Period Of Time?

if I sit too long or when going to bed, I get pain and muscle tightness in my legs. sometimes both, sometimes just one. This nerve type pain and what feels like contractures can start in upper thigh/s and work itself down to my feet. My heel/s then become painful and burning. These episodes do not have a type of pattern. I am being treated for Psoriatic Arthritis. On 20mg Methotrexate subcutaneously, weekly. I also have chronic lower back pain and pins in C3 C4 C5. Are there exercises I can do to help with this? Thanking you, Irene

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
your pain seems to be coming from the back it is radiating in nature, and will
cause a shooting pain. yes exercises do help but only once you have had a confirmed diagnosis. consult an orthopaedic surgeon and get yourself diagnosed first.
