What Causes Pain And Numbness In The Face And Hands?

My daughter is 25 weeks pregnant with her first baby and today she experienced tingling/ numbness in her face and hands and now she has a headache and is resting. She is a healthy 30 year old ,eats well and healthy,no red meat or pork . This pregnancy was invetro after a few missed attempts. Could you please inform me what she should do. She has texted her Dr. But has not heard back yet! Thank you, Deborah

Hi,

It happens post delivery due to decreased hemoglobin. Ask her to start iron tablets and also a tab. Methylcobalamin.
