What Causes Pain And Pressure In The Upper Abdomen After Having Food?

my girlfriend is having both dull and sharp pain in her right side lower rib cage/upper stomach area. The pain started shortly after lunch. she says there is a spot lower that gets angry when she pushes on it. also she feels pressure when she lifts her right leg toward her stomach. Should I take her to the E.R. or could it be gas? pork with garlic and pepper with green beans and corn was lunch that was left on the counter overnight.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

These are the symptoms of dyspepsia and it could be due to the diet taken most of the time. It can also be associated with hyperacidity. There is no necessary to take her to the ER.

Hope I have answered your query, let me inform if I can assist further.
