My sister passed away unexpectedly last Tuesday and I have been crying (sometimes quite hard) everyday. I have felt pain in my left eye since Thursday but did not actually notice I had bright redness on the left side until yesterday. When I got up this morning the pain was intense with alot of watering and it felt as though I had something under my eyelid but I also have pain all around my socket when I blink. The scratchiness has subsided quite a bit but every time I blink, I have deep pain. I did call my eye doctor but cannot get in until 1pm today. I was just wondering if there is something I can do right now to help it.
