Hello! I have redness in 1 eye and it is throbbing with pain off and on throughout the day..it started Saturday afternoon and I just thought i got something on my contacts and I didn't clean it that good..so I left my contacts out for 2 days and just wore my glasses and it did get better.. I put my contacts back in this morning and the redness came back. It was a new pair of contacts..I've been cleaning me eye all day with a warm wash cloth and it's definitely not as in pain. But the redness is still there...what do u suggest I do?
Hi I have gone through the question and understand your concern. In my opinion , you must have had epithelial defect over cornea , for that you are having such symptoms. I would advice you to discontinue wearing contact lens for arleast 5 days , and start putting antibiotic eyedrop (eg. Moxifloxacin) 4 times a day along with antibiotic eye ointment (eg. Ciprofloxacin) at bed time.. If the symptoms still doesn't resolve then consult your ophthalmologist. Also i would advice you to use a new solution for your contact lens. Hope this was of help. Let me know if you have other queries. Thank you
