General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

There is alteration of pressure in the nose, nasopharynx, oral cavity while speaking, swallowing, chewing. This pressure is transmitted through Eustachian tubes to the middle ear causing the clicking sound. Nothing much serious. This is Eustachian tube dysfunction. I would advise you the following in such a situation:
* Consult an ENT surgeon for ENT Endoscopy, clinical evaluation.
* A course of decongestant and anti-inflammatory medicine should help to solve your problem.
* You have also to alter the tone while speaking, regulate the pressure.
* Talk slow, take time in between the sentences.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
