What Causes Pain And Swelling In Left Breast After CABG Surgery?
Had CABG X 3 bypass grafts about one month ago. Now experiencing some pain and swelling in the region of my left breast. Just wondering if this is still from the recent surgery and healing process? If so, what can I do to alleviate the pain in this region?
thank you for providing with the brief history of you.
usually post CABG there might be some sort of discomfort in the chest.
did you under go the post CABG rehabilitation. post CABG the patient is advised to undergo the physical therapy sessions to retain the heart and improve the respiratory coordination.
you can discuss the same with the cardiac surgeon and look ahead with physical therapy who can help you over come certain issues.
also to mention that you need not ignore simple symptoms also and wait for it to rise. you should call up your cardiac surgeon and get self assessed and checked once.
there is not harm in discussing and getting checked. after all prevention is the first step to cure.
I wish you a speedy recovery and the full grace of God and blessings
