What Causes Pain And Swelling In Toe After An Injury?

I stubbed my little toe quite severely 2 weeks ago. I still have a shooting pain through it and if I spend time on my feet, my foot swells and there is a burning sensation. The shooting pain also happens through the night when I am in bed. Do you think it is broken or sprained? Didn t think there was much you could do about toes. Thank you

Hi, welcome to health care magic. after going through your queries my opinion is that your toe bone may get fractured for which you should have X ray done. take analgesics and visit orthopaedician.
