Hii ,
Welcome To HCM & Thanks For Asking Your Query Here
From Your medical history it seems that you have severely sprained your ankle
Pain along the inner side of the ankle may represent a more serious
injury to the tendons or to the ligaments and should always be evaluated by a Orthopedic surgeon
although You can take over the counter anti inflammatory drug like
ibuprofen and
muscle relaxant like thiocholchicosode after consulting your doctor to subside swelling and pain
along with this you should Rest your ankle by not walking on it. Limit weight bearing
apply Ice packs to keep down the swelling, Compression can help control swelling , also Elevate the foot by reclining and propping it up above the waist
I would strongly suggest you to visit an Orthopedic Surgeon to get it examine ,he may go for an X ray To rule out any possible
fracture because A severe Sprain can be Difficult to Differentiate from a fracture (broken bone) without an x-ray , also severely
sprained ankle may require immobilization or splinting to allow healing
I hope it help
Thanks & Get well Soon
