Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve had 2 surgeries on the tendons in my left wrist. After the first surgery my wrist bone was protruding. It is still protruding even after the second surgery. I am still in pain daily and my palm, pinky, and ring finger go numb. My wrist also burns and pops and throbs mostly at rest and at night. I cannot turn my wrist palm up. Why am I still in so much pain and having these symptoms after 2 surgeries and 1 year occupational therapy?
Your symptoms suggest a compresive neuropathy at wrist, ie Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Keep. It could be related to your pretty previous surgery. You need to get it diagnosed as early as posible because in long term it can destroy your nerves. Consult a hand surgeon
