Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son has often awoke with pain in his neck. As I inspect further I feel twisted veins on the side of his neck 3 fingertips diagonal towards his chin from his earlobe. This twistedness seems to vary rather frequently and I can t seem to get a good measurement of the bumps and twists as they are many and appear to move. What is this? What should I do for him?
As first-line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
