What Causes Pain Around Waistline On Stretching Backwards?

I have pain around my waistline when stretching backwards, like stretching a damaged muscle. its been for a month plus now, saw doctor and prescribed Panadol Joint and Vit B cap, pain seem to be less may be the pain killer, but not gone after 3 days of medication. any help.
