What Causes Pain At The Incision Of An Abdominal Myomectomy?

It's been nearly 9 months since I had an abdominal myomectomy. My lower abdomen, right at the incision still has sharp pricking pain on and off. I was told by my pcp after 4months from the surgery it could have been because the muscles were still healing and the way I was turning the body. However, five months later and it feels like little pins are pricking me and making my lower abdomen numb and at my pelvis, I feel sharp pain. Is that common?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, post surgical pain at the site of incision or near scar may last long and most of the time it is the pseudo type may not be due to any problem, it is the neurological in origin and with the time it will be gone and it is nothing to worry, and even no need to treat this, hope this information helps.
