What Causes Pain Below Chest While Breathing?

Hello doc. I would like to ask about what I suffered 2 days already. Everytime I breath Below my chest hurts. Probably it s the stomach. It s really painful everytime I breath in. But when I lay down the pain lessens. An answer from you would be helpful. Thank you so much..

Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion you are having muscular pain. As bilateral chest pain is not seen in stomach problem. But we need to rule out cardiac cause first.
So get done ECG. If this is normal than no need to worry for cardiac cause. Mostly you have muscular pain. Try to follow these steps.
1. Avoid heavy weight lifting and strenuous exercise.
2. Avoid bad postures in sleep.
3. Take good painkiller and muscle relaxant.
4. Apply warm water pad on affected site.
