What Causes Pain During Urination Despite Taking Levaquin?

I have had a re-occuring UTI and blood in the urine. I ve had ultra sounds of the kidney, abdomin and the bladder. No stones. I just completed Levaquin antibotic and now I have the urge to urinate and its painful when I do, but I urinate very little. The pelvic area feels like my bladder is full. What can it be?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It is clear that your infection didn't get cured, by levaquine.
You should do an uroculture and it will show wich is best antibiotic that works for you.
You should take it for 14-21 days as recommended by your doctor since it got complicated.
Meanwhile try to drink cranberry juice and tea.
Use ibuprofen or paracetamol for pain.
