What Causes Pain During Urination?

Hi,I am vani age 27 . recently i have been to a urologist because sometimes i have a pain while passing urine, and causes irritation before & after the urination for few hours. My doctor referred me to urine culture, CT Scan of Abdomen and Pelvis With and Without Contrast. All my reports are normal with no infection,no kidney stones. My question is why do i feel the pain if everything if fine with my bladder and kidneys.I still feel the pain monthly 2-3 times from last 3 months. The pain slowly calm down after taking sugar water or butter milk. Is this because of my body heat , will taking of 4 chapatis daily for dinner making me a painful urination.Because i started taking them from past 4 months. Please do help me in this regard. Thank you.

Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.
These symptoms are suggestive of uroinfection and this is common in your age and usually is manifested with pain during urination, fever and changes in urination frequency. Also, blood traces may be present in urine which can have odour or colour change. Other common cause are urinary stones. Diagnosis is established by doing urine analysis and urinoculture and after this antibiotic treatment may be started if necessary. If there is negative urine analysis then you should do ultrasound of kidneys to check for stones.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
