What Causes Pain From Cheek Bone To Ear With Bruise On Ear?
My ear was giving me a lot of pain two days ago from my cheek bone all the way to my ear. Now there is a bruising feeling from the back of my ear to the back of my head and neck.... I don t know what it could be from but my whole head is sore to touch... no i didn t hit it on anything and no body has touched me..
Understanding your concern. As per your query pain from cheek bone to ear with bruise on ear could be due to facial space infection which is leading to cellulitis. But if it persist for more then 3 weeks then it is a hematoma which is collection of blood under the skin which appear as bruise and lump. I would suggest you to apply hot compresses at-least 3-4 times a day. You should take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and swelling .If it persist for more then a week then consult ENT specialist once for proper evaluation and get blood test such as complete blood count done. Doctor may drain it or may prescribe ointment. You should gargles daily.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
