What Causes Pain In Arms After Taking Cervical Epidural?

I had a cervical epideral today. I felt immediate relief in my neck but before I could even leave the office, I began to have aching in my arms and shoulder blades. They said numbness is normal and some pain but if persists longer than 12 hours to call the office. It s been 4 hours and I m still in pain. My arms throb and ache. The said they would call me to check up but they are now closed and do not open until Monday. Should I be concerned? Do you feel this is a normal post procedure reaction? If so, how long do you think it will last? I m just concerned that it could be permanent:( No one wants to go in for pain relief and come out with more pain:(
