What Causes Pain In Back And Right Side Of Abdomen?

I went to the Er with Pain in my back ( middle) which went through my body to my upper right stomach right under my breast. They thought it was a muscle problem; finding only high amounts of enzymes in my stomach. I was given muscle relaxers and Oxycontin for pain, but I think it s my pancreas. Am I off on the wrong track?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Pain on the right side of the chest, upper abdomen and shoulder has first to be investigated for myocardiac infarct that is heart attack.
Increased stomach enzymes can increase in pancreatitis, gall stone impaction also.
Since this is a serious matter go back to ER, get hospitalized and need further investigation of EKG. Ultrasound, all relevant blood tests. Immediate treatment be instituted.
