What Causes Pain In Back, Stomach, Legs And Head And Diarrhea?

So I think I have the stomach flu. My lower back, legs, and head have been aching. My stomach too. I have constant diarrhea but no vomiting. Ive been drinking gatorade and water and I ve been eating a lot of soup and crackers. It s lasted about 3 days, and it s slowl getting better. Should I just keep it up?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.

Thanks for writing to HCM

There is possibility of food poisoning.
You may need to take antibiotic.
I will advise to start antacids [proton pump inhibitors like] rabeprazole -D twice a day.
Sucralfate will protect gastric mucosa and will give protective covering.
Take high fluid intake to avoid water loss.

Try to maintain body fluid by increasing fluid intake, take easily digestible food.
If not recovered then you need to consult your treating doctor.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.
