What Causes Pain In Belly Button?

i am real worried because a few weeks ago my belly button had been hurting. the pain started low and days past it goes up. i remember years ago that i always had a piece of my belly button cord still there and one day i was in the car and felt something rubbing my shirt and it came out. it was bout 1in the tip was black and hard and the end was white and smushy. well days later its been hurting more and im scared its going to open up and bleed to death. i think its been hurting cuz its infected or something and i still feel stuff in there, i took pics and it its red like if i was bleeding a lil bit. what should i do?

I really appreciate your concern, certain conditions are there that could cause of symptoms of pain and bleeding first is infection second foreign body, third is umbilical hernia I would advise you to rule these out till then you can try Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day, and Tab Amoxicillin 500 mg three times I day, but as matter of fact it hast o be managed with surgical procedure, only hope this information helps.
