Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Pain In Calves And Difficulty In Walking?
Hi after a walking to the train station this morning I began to have a sudden pain in my calves. It was very sore to walk on, I have tried resting all day and I still feel the pain. My calf feels heavy and stretched. I had laser eye surgery and am worried it could have something to do with this.
What I understand is this is just a muscle spasm in the calf muscle which occurs in some cases due to weakness of the muscles and sudden pull. This is not related to your eye surgery.
Taking hot water fermentation and allowing the limb to rest over a pillow should reduce the spasm in 2-3 days of time. In case if it doesn't happen, having a physical examination done by a orthopedist should be help.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
