Hello Doctor, Usually in the middle of the night when sleeping and I yawn my calves will cramp up and I jump out of bed to stretch it out. Other than stretching and drinking a lot of fluids before going to bed is there anything else I should be concerned about? Thanks, Doug
Hi Thanks for your query After going through your query I think you are having muscle cramps. In my opinion these pains are likely to be due to vitamins and trace element deficiency specially that of vitamin D.I will suggest you to got following test to see cause .1.Serum Vitamin D 2.Serum Vitamin B12 3.Blood sugar fasting and PP. Furthermore I empirically treat my such patients by:-1.EVION LC 2.VITAMINE D3(if it is low) 3.VITAMIN B COMPLEX AND VITAMIN C 4.CALCIUM 5.Mecobalmine 6.ANALGESICS such as ibuprofen to relieve pain.
