What Causes Pain In Chest After Eating?

I am having pain in my chest everytime I eat. It started with my thinklng it was just some food getting stuck, but it is becoming problematic and continual. This is now even causing paid when I drink. It is toward the back of my throat feeling, but is truly painful where my collarbones meet the sternum. What could be causing this?

Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
By your history and description, in my opinion you are having dysphagia (painful swallowing).
And the esophageal diseases are common cause for dysphagia.
So better to consult Gastroenterologist and get done
1. Barrium swallow examination
2. Upper GI scopy.
Esophageal spasm, esophageal polyp or mass, achalasia cardia etc must be rule out in your case.
So consult Gastroenterologist and discuss all these, first diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.
