Hi I am having a pain in my chest every time when I eat? It s happening from last four days, now I am only eating custard. It is feeling hard to swallow any solids . That s the first time I have this issue. Before this happened, I am a flu & sore throat so took amoxlin & neurofin for fever. But not sure I this pain in my chest is happening . My GP did a blood report & it s all fine in report. Your help is much appreciated.
Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am a Gastroenterologist (DM). I think antibiotics which you have taken for fever has either caused inflammation in food pipe or stomacch thats why there is pain after takin meals. For this what you should do is take a proton pump inhibitor along with a prokinetic agent.
I hope I have answered your query and this will help you. If you have any further query I will be happy to answer that too. Remain in touch and get-well soon.
