Hello sir I am gasttic problem for one month doctors are giving me pantocid n sucramal, but few times I am having pain in chest but my ECG anf physical expection by doctor was ok I want to know chest pain is common i this and how much time it take to cure from ulceration . Sometimes I alao feel shortness of breath is it common in gaatric problem or shoul ld I chexked by pulmonary doctor.

Uncontrolled GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) can cause respiratory problems like asthma, bronchitis and aspiration pneumonitis. So better to consult pulmonologist and get done 1. Chest x ray 2. PFT (pulmonary function test). Chest x ray is needed to rule out aspiration pneumonia. PFT is needed to rule out asthma and bronchitis. So better to consult pulmonologist and discuss all these. Better control of GERD is needed to avoid above mentioned respiratory problems.
