What Causes Pain In Chest With Rash On Left Side Of The Breast?
Hi. I am a female age 52. I have had a pain in my chest, left side for about two weeks. Comes and goes. Pretty much when I take a deep breath. Uncomfortable. I have also had a rash on the left side under my breast and bikini line. Thought it was a wet bathing suit at first. I have had shingles in the past. Thought it might be that.
what you are describing does sound a lot like shingles. especially if it is in the same area as you had it last time. there are of course many other possible causes of breast/chest pain and rash. these include trauma, heart disease. respiratory infections, inflammation of the ribs and chest wall and many types of skin disorders. the possibilities are many, so if it doesn't get better in a few days, or if the symptoms are severe, you should see a doctor as soon as possible. I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any more questions.
