What Causes Pain In Ear After Hearing Loud Scream?
After a loud scream by someone nearby, I began experiencing a terrible pain in my ear which continues to hurt when I move my jaw, especially thelast two top and bottom molars in my mouth. Should I be seriously concerned? Is there a charge for an answer?
Hi, Welcome to healthcare magic. I had gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Sudden increase in the ear canal pressure secondary to a loud scream could have caused damage to your ear drum. I recommend the following. 1) Analgesics like tablet paracetamol for pain relief. 2) Otoscopic examination of the ear drum to rule out perforation. This answer is free Wish you a speedy recovery. Hope I have answered your question, if you any questions I am happy to help.
