What Causes Pain In Elbow?

Hi doctor, I am 31 years old. I had been taking wysolene, mextate and calcium for 3 years upto 2012. I am married and I have a 5month old baby. Am not feeding the baby since milk secretion was not upto the amount. I was taking these medicines for RA in my right elbow and vasculitis. I did not have any pain after 2012. But now again my right hand elbow is painting very badly in the mornings. I am now advised to take wysolene 5mg along with mextate and multivitamin tablet.

After going through your query I concluded that you are having Rheumatoid arthritis. You was well but you stopped the drug. Now your symptoms reappear. You are advised by your doctor again on wysolene, mextate and multivitamin. I want to say that after relief of symptoms you should stop wysolene. But methotrexate (mextate) should never be stopped as it's disease modifying agent and is to be taken life long otherwise symptoms will reappear. You can discuss with your Doctor about it.
